That Voices of Treason episode was WOW!
Interesting insight into what people did to spread the propaganda word. You get the idea that at least some of these broadcast traitors weren’t believing what they were saying...and if they did...they were just delusional. Having been born way after WWII it was hard to relate to those broadcasts...they seemed slow compared to more contemporary advertising which blasts you with sound bites. The voice and tone of Hanoi Hanna was a real surprise...too bad we can’t ask what Adrien Kronauer must of thought of her...she seemed formidable. And hearing again the words of Baghdad Bob...hate to run into him if in another life he sold life insurance...he could still “sell” despite the blatant and obvious evidence that “Dude! The Americans are right there! Just turn around!”
Well we’ve heard from the “other side”...
Maybe we should listen to what “our” side generated...a story on America’s Psy-ops
operations and techniques should prove to be even more fun!

It's not juSt that the stories are GREAT, it's the way they're told --
with unpretentious sincerity & love of storytelling. So refreshing, when many podcasts come across as smarmy & condescending! Thank you for doing what you do!

Mr. Hagadorn, your 1001 podcasts are the best podcasts that I have ever listened to!!
I drive a truck for a living, therefore I have the ability to binge listen to your shows for hours and hours each day, for which I am very thankful for.

1001 Heroes, Legends, Histories and Mysteries

Great variety, great quality
You never know what you are going to get each week with this podcast - true history, war heroes, westerns, conspiracies, ghost stories - but its always entertaining. I particularly like the urban legends series.

Fascinating Podcast
If you have an interest in history, this is the podcast for you. No revisionist, agenda driven presentations here. Well researched and refreshingly unbiased stories. My favorite, not hockey based podcast.

Great Podcast for Anyone
I was on the hunt for a good podcast when driving to work and when I take my dog on a walk and I found it with this one. The stories are interesting and vary across many subjects. Some of the events I knew about and I ended up learning new things about them. If you want an entertaining pool of topics that will keep you waiting to see what might come next this is the place.

Great podcast
Not to sure how I stumbled upon this gem of a podcast but I’m so glad I did, have been listening for quite awhile now, and I love all the informative and fascinating topics, but my favorite shows are the world war 2 stories, hearing about the courage and heroism of the brave men who fought and sacrificed so much for their country gives me goosebumps, thank you my friend for this wonderful podcast.
