Addictive
I can not stop listening, I find myself lingering in my car, just telling myself “I’ll go in at the next commercial”.

The first few episodes you got a little goofy, but you found your flow through the years. The only thing I don’t like on your more recent episodes is that some of your guests are hard to understand.

Magnifico!
Thank you Mr. Hagedorn for your podcast. 1001 Heroes, Legends, Histories & Mysteries Podcast was about the fifth podcast I found. Since then I listen to nothing else. So many favorites, but I especially love the ones on the rat pack! Since I have found stories for the road and short stories I am hooked and cannot wait until Sunday. Also thank you for standing up for God and our country keep at it!

Peshtigo
I enjoyed hearing part 1 of the Peshtigo. As An educator with a history concentration I loved the primary first-hand accounts. As a former Wisconsinite I had never heard Pestigo pronounced that way... perhaps further research to prove me wrong.

The BEST History Podcast
1001 is THE best history podcast I have found. I’ve been listening for over three years and each episode is meticulously researched and presented with excellent production value. On top of all that, Jon is a great storyteller!

Felt I was there...
I feel like I dropped into some time in history. I loved the 5 part series on the Titanic. I thought I had read every story and seen every movie, but I missed one. I felt the fear that the passengers must of felt. The interview with the author of the book on the Titanic menu was a new point of view as well

1001 Heroes, Legends, Histories & Mysteries
OH MY GOSH! To critics! Listen to something else, who cares about how Oregon is pronounced or if the story has fishing, hunting or some other such you dont want to hear about. Go listen to night time news, or “night time entertainment!” This man is providing a SERVICE of entertainment, not a professionally produced, written, directed, sponsored piece of garbage! We have freedom of choice and variety, not every program needs to be the way you expert critics think.

It is nice this day in age to hear history told from both perspectives and not just the overly sensitive and PC soaked place we have gotten used to. I have listened to your whole library and can’t get enough thank you.

The Katyn Forest Massacre
So many episodes to love - the most recent favorite is the Katyn Forest Massacre. I had never heard of the massacre before and then to find out real country behind it was unbelievable. Thanks Jon Hagadorn for bringing history to life.

Believe it or not! My teenage daughters and I enjoy listening to these stories while making the 2 hr drive to Grandmas cozy lake cabin in Western MD. We enjoy discussing them afterwards, and no doubt have bonded over these family friendly stories. - Pittsburgh Dad

Over time I've developed a handful of go to podcasts I enjoy listening to, and this one is a definite rock I keep coming back to again and again. An interesting and wide range of subjects will keep your interest peeked and you may find it hard to stop listening. A big thanks to Jon for all his honest hard work and effort.

One of the best podcasts of all time
Mr. Hagadorn does a wonderful job of painting a vivid mental picture of some of the most interesting historical subjects of all time. I find his choice in topics to be fantastic. I have even let my daughter, Alyssa (age 11), listen to some of the podcasts and she actually listens to the immersive tales without complaint.....amazing cause none of his stories “so far” are about Taylor Swift.
If you have to pick one podcast to keep you entertained for the day, you will Love Love Love the time you spend listening to 1001 Heroes, legends, Histories & Mysteries Podcast!!!!
