Suggestion for podcast
Totally binged listened “King Solomon’s Mines”....that was an awesome presentation! Once started I had to finish them all....only waiting for the final chapter to be presented. A great way to spend the first rainy days here in California which finally put an end to all the fires scourging the state and confounding the air not just with smog but actual smoke despite being hundreds of miles away. Jon....Keep up the great work! I’ve got suggestions for future presentations.... you know me...I am a Zane Grey fan...all who know his work are mostly familiar with his Westerns....but he also was an avid baseball fan and a fishing fanatic. In his writings he is able to transport the reader to the hot deserts of the Southwestern United States and even to the Outback of Australia in “Wilderness Trek”...you feel the heat, you experience the dryness. In your mind’s eye you’re there with the characters...seeing what they see, feeling what they feel and your heart beating as you experience the excitement they go through. Believe it or not...he brings the same acumen to the subjects of baseball and fishing. Which for many people seeing their activity from the outside find them not very exciting...almost boring at times. In his book entitled The Redhead Outfield in the chapter called “The Rube’s Pennant” he expounds upon the excitement of the game...one can’t help but be caught up. He is able to make you feel the passion of why so many people are fans of baseball. In Tales Of Fishes in the chapter entitled “Byme-By-Tarpon” you find another “exciting” story where he truly captures the emotion behind why people fish...and why fishing is called fishing and not catching. Hope this helps, G Gelle

ALL of the 1001 Pod Casts!
Yard work, house work, driving, laundry, scrabble...listening to these pod casts is entertaining and informative, the work is done easier and trips driving long distances fly by. I Love Jack London, the UFO stories, and the historic and scary ones. (Dont listen to Lovecraft at night FOR SURE!). I Cant wait for the second chapter of the Three Marys. These are pod casts to share. And I do! Thank you Mr. Hagadorn.

Thank you
I stumbled across to 1001 podcast a while back I have been binge listening for about three weeks now when I was a kid my mother used to read to me we live general Alaska no TV your ability to tell story is incredible I have enjoyed every story and bits of history I had never heard before thank you I am 49 years old and drive for a living so I literally have three or four hours of listening every day

Another great podcast!
If you’re a fan of the Old West History-@legendsoftheoldwestpodcast is definitely one to check out. I was a history major and a tour guide for the Oregon Trail and Mormon Trail, the research they do sets them apart, plus is super entertaining with fantastic production value. I binged the first episodes on a cross country road trip! I’m hooked and can’t wait to listen to the next episodes of Tombstone!

Love it!
Just happened to stumble on this podcast, decided to give it a try and now I’m addicted!

Ore is not gone!!!
This is a relaxing show. But Hagadorn, learn how to pronounce Oregon! Or-e-gUn! Please! This can’t be the first time you’ve heard this. And it matters not if people say it Gone where you are.

Patriotic & Historic
Greatly enjoy these presentations. The titles don’t always sound interesting but then I’ll listen and am always glad I did. Ken

Love the stories
Love the stories and as close to Paul Harvey as there is now. Keep the stories coming and filling out Day. On a side note - could you have Noah lower his volume?

1001 RULES!
We love all the 1001 shows and John is a wonderful host. We listen all the time. We look forward to hearing the new episodes every week and it’s so cool being able to share them! Jimmy and I are history buffs and loyal fans. Keep up the great work! Thanks, Andrea

Everything you do!
I love, love, love your stories from all your broadcasts! I was listening to Urban Legends II about the literature assignment while driving on the highway. I was laughing so hard I thought people must think I’m crazy. I came home later that evening and played that section for my husband. We both laughed so hard. Thank you for the laughs, stories and intrigue. Please keep it up. You make my travel enjoyable. Jamie

Again!
I’ve been very loyal to this podcast. I am quite disappointed in yet another major change. I was absolutely looking forward to hearing the rest of Little women Questing if I’m going to continue supporting this podcast.

Awesome story’s well done!
Thanks for the great stories one of my favorite podcasts.

Story time
I checked this podcast first for new arrivals. These are wonderful bedtime stories for grown-ups.

Exactly what I needed!
I am a huge fan of the 1001 podcasts and was really looking forward to the new show. It has not disappointed! I listen to a lot of podcasts about current events, and it's fantastic to have this brief but interesting and uplifting show to break up all the muck of the day coveted in some of the other shows I frequent and the world as a whole.

Jon is awesome !
Jon is such an amazing story teller. LOVE listening to him.

Always a great listen
Love the stories from this host as they're always interesting and informative and I like the fact I can consume an entire episode on my walk. Not like the 3 hour shows that takes over your day. Great for listening with the kiddos too. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Love It!
I am a long time listener to the 1001 history podcast and am thrilled they have launched a new one! This podcast is perfect for younger kids because it focuses on the happy and fun side of history. All in all, keep up the good work!👍🏻
