Thank you
This podcast has saved me. I am a mailman driving four to six hours a day delivering my route. I listen to one story after another. Mr. Hagedorn has a calm, soothing voice. I’ve listened to other books on tape, but I always come back to 1001 short stories. All I can say is thank you

The Best!

Love this podcast
I love this podcast. It’s like story time for grownups. The reader is excellent. I only wish he could do newer stories as well, but I understand copyright is a real issue. But I enjoy the classics and other stories I never knew. Thanks so much!

I am so glad I stumbled on your podcast, every story you have narrated that I have listened to has captivated me. I always dread winter, I am a gardener and love toiling in my flower beds, the smell of rich soil, and tending my green leafed friend. But I can bare my temporary prison indoors because I found you. ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful Podcast
I’ve been listening for years and John’s soothing voice has entertained me through hours of cleaning, nursing my baby, and working out. Love listening to his chapter books from his other 1001 podcasts in the car on long road trips too. Thank you John for the hard work you do. A good friend reads to you
This podcast reminds me of settling down to have a good friend read a story with you. Reading some classic short stories, relaxing, and appreciating good writing. It’s quite enjoyable.

Keeps you listening
