1001 Stories For The Road
★★★★★

Rest assured, Jon is a reader.

For the first time in my rabidly diffuse life, I find myself enslaved to a periodical episode. I’ve never cared a wit about tv shows and the like, but was recently ensnared by the likes of Jons reading of Treasure Island. I found myself waiting patiently (Who am I kidding? Impatiently!) for the following Sunday to release the next, much anticipated installment of the great tale. Now I am equally ensnared by a story which I have often dismissed as silly. Don’t get me wrong, it is silly but quite good. As is the story tellers talent and expression. This Tarzan has captured my imagination.

One note of warning: Mr. Hagadorn is not much of an editor. His talents lie in the reading of the story. There will be repeating of sentences and an occasional chapter placed in the wrong place (chapter 5 to 6 of this telling I think). Nevertheless, he is engaging and entertaining. Thank you, Jon, for all of your fine work. I k ow you have many irons in the fire, but have you considered t-shirts? I would gladly wear my 1001 about town.
